The housing was delivered within the specified period. Density is also very accommodating and courteous when it comes to requests for order changes. A merging of 2 orders was no problem and was not charged with additional shipping costs! Excellent service.
The case itself is very convincing. It looks and feels extremely robust, due to the thickness of the materials used. The side panels can be easily removed / attached.
In the nearly 16 liters of volume I could accommodate a 280mm (TOP) and a 120mm radiator (BOTTOM),
which provides enough cooling performance for any moderate ITX system. So I could use 3 140mm fans and one 120mm fan (all non-slim).
Again I would like to emphasize my very positive experiences with the Denstity support team.
All inquiries were answered and handled competently and satisfactorily in a very short time.
I even received a reply mail on a Sunday (wow!).

The order came within the specified time (6 weeks). The case was well packaged and Density’s reply was swift when I needed more information about the shipment.
The case feels very sturdy and is well designed to properly house an impressive amount of computing without much compromisation, which is quite a feat to do and that’s why your research probably leads you to this comment.
The downside that I personally find:
– Lack of dust filter. I have to pay ~EUR 70 extra for the magnetic dust filter that is also resold by Density, which works great. But for the rather steep price of the case, I would expect to have that option included in the offering.
– The side panels mechanism allows quick removal and reinstall. However, it tends to allow the side to be tightly shut to the rest of the case, especially if your cable applies any force toward the panels.
– The window panel is plastic and it was hard for me to make it look clean.
That said, those are quite small and personal thoughts. If you are looking for a case that is sturdy, portable, with side IO port and a cute handle to house your setup and all necessary cooling it needs (up to 280mm rad on top), the SM580 is an excellent choice.
