We are closely monitoring and strictly following precautions regarding the Covid-19. Our mission was and continue to be to focus on supplying exceptional service and products with high quality and innovative design even through times like these.
As you probably already know, most of the products we offer are manufactured all over the world. For example SLIGER’s Small Form Factor computer cases are produced in the USA with some components sourced from other countries, while Nouvolo computer cases are manufactured in Asia, or dust filter products by DEMCiflex are manufactured in South Africa.
However with more information developing everyday the global logistic network is adapting to the current situation. As a result due to increased safety precautions and security check on all major global cargo hubs we see delays in transport.
Therefore we are temporarily increasing the estimated processing time from 2-5 weeks to an estimated 3-6 weeks. Although some things are outside of control by businesses, we are constantly working with our partners to find new solutions to mitigate the impact on our customers.
What do we do about it?
We were already successful in implementing a few countermeasures to lessen the impact on customer’s orders.
- We are constantly increasing our standard stock size above normal in EU located warehouses, thus many orders can be fulfilled locally
- We have rooted out some of causes for slower shipping
- We have switched to faster and more reliable shipping methods at no additional cost to our customers
- We are proactively contacting customers when there is a chance to change components to speed up shipping (i.e. offering a change of color or style of the PC case, etc.)
At the moment all orders dated after 20.03.2020 are temporarily impacted by longer processing time of 3-6 weeks
At the moment 3-6 weeks applies to computer cases and their accessories. Shorter processing time of approximately 1-3 weeks applies to dust filters or cooling products
No. Currently there is no scientific evidence to support transmission of Corona virus associated with imported goods – especially due to associated transit time.
